Erik Johansson (born 1985) is a photographer and visual artist from Sweden based in Prague, Czech Republic. His work can be described as surreal worlds created by combining photographs. Erik mainly works on personal projects and exhibitions around the world.
Very pertinent to my practise! Johansson is on the borderline, in my opinion, producing sometimes powerful work and other times pretty shallow work. I think there is a narrow line between being a yellow magazine artist or an artist with a specific language. But the manner he creates his compositions is what I find appealing about his work.
