“Deev Nameh” or “Book of Demons: Recognition of the face of imaginary creatures in Iranian narratives” is an Iranian published book about the Pre-Islamic and Islamic periods of Iranian demonology. It describes the role of demons in culture and religion and how pre-Islamic demons changed their nature after Islam took over in Iran. also, there is a list of demons and their characteristics and personalities.

A very useful book for my project. The interesting fact about the Iranian demons is that before Islam, during the Zoroastrian period, demons didn’t have any certain physical shape or a special character, and later they become wicked characters with good or bad decisions, sometimes they liked humans and sometimes hate them.
